We are building a trailer for natural disaster's.
This is a project we feel we need to undertake as when we watch the television and see people loose everything they own from tornado's to earthquakes and they have nothing left, no where to keep warm, no power, no where to sleep or cook food no source of hot water we feel we can design and build something that could help.
Now we are not trying to replace what they have lost or want, just what they may need.
This is not being designed as a new home but just to give a few home comforts like a microwave, somewhere to keep warm, power source for a radio, lights and kettle etc.
We will also be implementing a small hot water solar panel with a small storage tank to hold hot water for later use at night time.
Its great when we see people all come together and help with water and generators etc.
All the help people can get during a disaster the better things are for them.
We feel that a trailer of this kind will be great for some people but not all.
The good thing about this trailer will be the fact its totally of grid and needs no other sources of power.
We will be posting pics in the next week or so when the trailer is looking like it should.
Its going to be a real challenge to get this unit as we like but we have a great foundation already to build from.
